In 1995, Sonny and his wife, Joon, opened their first Mio Sushi restaurant in a small Victorian house in Portland, OR. With over 20 years of experience as a sushi chef, Sonny created a
full-service Japanese restaurant with a menu that combines classic and creative fusion dishes, reflecting the local flavors and ingredients of the Pacific Northwest.
Today, we have grown to a family of 13 restaurants in OR and WA. Mio Sushi has been
committed to providing the best quality possible at reasonable prices for the whole family and
our dedication to this philosophy is as strong as ever. We are constantly looking for sources
of fresh fish and produce and have been able to pass the cost savings to our customers.
A group of locally-owned full-service Japanese restaurants that offer fresh and high-quality foods in a casual and family-friendly ambience. Our goal is to provide the best quality at reasonable prices in a casual, family- friendly dining atmosphere by offering fresh and delicious foods that
